Biographical Info

My name is Maia, and I attend Riverside Community College.  I am majoring in mathematics and hoping to become a math teacher or find a career in STEM. I love working with kids and feel privileged to be doing so.  Kids teach me valuable skills each and every day!

World Academy Standards

In order to provide an excellent educational climate, we ask that students respect classmates and instructors at all times, and always do their best with any given activity. We believe in a well-organized, structured environment for the World Academy Program, driven by positive reinforcement and high expectations. If a child does not maintain good conduct, we will work with him/her to make better choices in the future. If the problem continues, the parent will be notified. It is our belief that if children know what is expected of them, they will strive to meet that expectation. We will follow this code of conduct at all times, and we hope that you support us at home as well.
