Amber is a busy wife and mother of three children; two boys and a girl. All three of her children are very involved in sports.  Both her boys play baseball and her daughter plays softball.  She currently has an Associate’s Degree in the Arts and has a year left of school before she receives her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.  She would like to possibly continue her education and obtain a Special Education Degree.  She has been working with World Academy for three years.  She was previously employed by Alvord Unified School District as a Campus Supervisor.  She loves working with children of all ages and couldn’t imagine herself doing anything else.  She can honestly say the most fun part of her job, other than seeing the kids’ faces every day, is hearing their daily silly stories!

Debbie is happily married and a mother of four beautiful children.  She currently has two jobs.  She works for Alvord U.S.D. as a Food Service Worker and for World Academy as an Assistant.  She is on her 8th year with both jobs and looks forward to many more to come. While she’s had other jobs in the past, there’s nothing she would rather do now than work with kids.  She thinks they are awesome!

World Academy Standards

In order to provide an excellent educational climate, we ask that students respect classmates and instructors at all times, and always do their best with any given activity. We believe in a well-organized, structured environment for the World Academy Program, driven by positive reinforcement and high expectations. If a child does not maintain good conduct, we will work with him/her to make better choices in the future. If the problem continues, the parent will be notified. It is our belief that if children know what is expected of them, they will strive to meet that expectation. We will follow this code of conduct at all times, and we hope that you support us at home as well.
